Edwin Maiyo, a proud son of Uasin Gishu County, has graduated with a Master’s degree from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, UK. Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Maiyo reflected on his remarkable academic journey, which began with humble beginnings. "It is a journey I never believed possible," he said. "I never even knew I could ever study abroad." Maiyo expressed profound gratitude to his parents for their sacrifices to support his educational aspirations. He took a trip down memory lane to the days his parents went to great lengths to keep him abroad because they trusted him.

 In a heartfelt gesture, he dedicated his prestigious accomplishment to his parents. Maiyo acknowledges that his parents supported him despite not having had the opportunity to pursue higher education. He emphasized their pivotal role in his success, adding that he would be forever indebted to them. "This degree is for them," he said. "Just to tell them they are the best parents in the world." 

He jokingly bestowed the achievement to them, adding that they earned it by default and he would look for his. In an inspiring tribute, she credited his unwavering support for helping her achieve this milestone. Adanna noted that despite their relationship's challenges, she is grateful for his commitment to her academic success. 

The graduate teacher described her ex-lover as a constant source of support even after their separation. She recalled how, throughout her studies, he ensured she had everything necessary to complete her courses.
