Safaricom Gives Customers Free Airtime and Mbuzi, Tells Subscribers to Expect More Gifts

Safaricom is giving customers free airtime, live goats, chicken, and food hampers as it continues its ‘Sambaza Furaha’ festive season programme nationwide. Why Safaricom is gifting customers The telecommunications company noted that it was sharing joy with its customers as it marked 24 years of providing financial and other services to subscribers.
The five-week campaign started in the Rift Valley and is currently in the Mt Kenya region. "The ‘Sambaza Furaha’ will delight customers with various gifts, including live goats (mbuzis), chickens, food hampers, airtime, among other exciting offers. Through this initiative, Safaricom expresses its gratitude for the support and trust of millions of Kenyans, embracing the true spirit of the season by giving back to those who have been a part of its journey," Safaricom stated.
On Thursday, November 21, several customers enjoyed free airtime as the telco posted voucher numbers on its social media handles. It asked customers to stay alert to receive the gifts. "Zingine zitatumwa (you will receive other offers)," it responded to a customer who asked about free airtime. What is Safaricom's Wai Ndai programme? Safaricom also gave customers a chance to win three Suzuki Altos and daily cash vouchers of up to KSh 500,000 in a new promotion challenge.
The company announced a 90-day gaming challenge dubbed the 'Wai Ndai' campaign. Safaricom told TUKO.co. that promotional campaigns, including instant credit vouchers, would occasionally be shared with customers. To participate, customers can visit the Challenges Arena, use USSD *555# or the Safaricom app, and sign up for Challenges Arena for KSh 10 daily.
