A proud Kenyan mother has celebrated her son in a special way after he completed his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination. Form 4 boy receives iPhone from Kenyan mum after finishing KCSE.  The woman, who goes by the username Nalady on TikTok, shared a video thanking her son for being on good behaviour for four years and making her proud. She also promised to be there for him even after school.

 “Michael, congratulations on finishing Form 4, behaving well for the four years and welcome to the outside world. We will be here with Maria to support you. Here is your gift and I want you to open it,” she said while holding her son’s hands.. She then gave him a gift bag, teasing him initially that it contained a book meant to motivate and guide him through the many years of school. 

Kenyan mum gifts son iPhone 13 Pro Max Michael proceeded to unwrap the gift only to realise it was a new iPhone 13 Pro Max, not a book. In the clip, he is seen moving back and forth in confusion while smiling before warmly embracing his mother to say thank you for the amazing gift. “Thanks mum, of course I like it,” he responded to Nalady’s question while holding his mouth in disbelief. She then handed over his old phone to him, which he swiftly put inside his blazer pocket.

Nicholus Kitheka: “My family were surprised to see me at the door with my metal box on my head. I was sweating profusely.” Larriey: “I wish I had such parents.” Nyar Mao: “A week after form four, my mum told me that two women cannot live under the same roof; I need to find a husband.” 

Luke: “When I got home with my box and mattress, they thought I was expelled.” Winston Churchill: “You are putting pressure on some of us, for sure. I’m the first born, and I feel like the same could have been done to me.” 

Ezekiel Kangu: “I saw this and started crying because when I finished form 4, I called our shamba boy since he’s the one who used to protect me from my toxic mother, only for him to tell me he was fired.” Miss Gesare: “Some of us were not picked from school after finishing KCSE.”
