Shifura, the video vixen who gained fame after appearing in musician D-Star’s viral song Hoozambe, is now seeking financial assistance after falling on hard times.

The vixen revealed that her struggles began after a fallout with her management.

“I got some misunderstandings with my old management, and we separated because I felt exploited,” she said in an interview.

She further explained her current challenges, saying, “I am stressed because of my child, stressed because of rent. First of all, if you aren’t working, you get stressed.”

Shifura, who trended for her beauty and captivating presence, has now turned to well-wishers for help.

The Hoozambe dance challenge, which featured Shifura sitting on musician D-Star’s lap while he performed the hit song, contributed to her rise to fame.

In July this year, Shifura announced that she had launched a solo music career after parting ways with D-Star. The musician, however, made it clear he had no intentions of collaborating with her again.

“I don’t have any other plans of working with Shifura in my future projects because it is not nice having the same vixen in all the videos that I will be recording,” D-Star said.

He added, “And I didn’t travel with her because I thought it was unnecessary to travel with a vixen, just like other artists don’t travel with their vixens everywhere they go.”

Shifura expressed her displeasure on TikTok after D-Star embarked on a solo music tour in Kenya without her, vowing to plan her own Kenyan tour.

Meanwhile, D-Star, who grew up on the streets, shared his unwavering commitment to his roots despite his success.

“I am not renting anywhere; I sleep on the streets. Often, we don’t even get the chance to sleep. We are always on the streets hustling. Life out here is really tough,” he said.

He continued, “Street kids these days are so tough, but you know what? Even if I made it big, I wouldn’t forget my friends on the streets. They would have to first get off the streets if I make it.

We always share the little we have. That, for me, is true happiness.”
