Tanzanian singer Harmonize has told off critics who are bashing him after visiting a church for prayers. Harmonize explained why he attended church. Why did Harmonize attend church? A photo doing rounds online depicts the singer wearing a suit while kneeling on the altar.
A preacher placed a hand on his back while praying for him. Harmonize lifted his hands in surrender with his head bowed. He came under fire as people wondered why a Muslim would go to church, but the singer was unbowed.
In a message posted on his Instagram stories, Harmonize noted that he would still attend church. “When you give God your ear, Satan gets into the ears of those around you. Even if you say you won’t listen to Satan, you will have to since he speaks through humans,” he wrote. Harmonize said he visited the church as he felt like he was in a place where God could speak to him. “There is a lot going on in the world. It’s funny seeing people claim that I was paid to be there.”
Harmonize noted that no preacher could buy his faith. “I am proudly Muslim. Forever I will be going to church,” he declared. The singer said he would keep going to churches teaching about God, being a good person and how to make money and spend it.
According to Harmonize, he had matured mentally after hitting 30. Did Harmonize, Diamond make up? Harmonize and Diamond Platnumz fell out after the former claimed that the management had mistreated him and accused his father of witchcraft.
However, it seems all that is water under the bridge as a video posted by @wasafitv on Instagram showed the artistes exchanging pleasantries and conversing briefly. Invited to the State House by President Suluhu for an Iftar event, Harmonize approached a seated Diamond, extending a handshake. Diamond responded warmly.
