Madam Imbuka was preparing to lay her husband to rest when she tragically suffered a fatal fall in her bathroom.  She fondly described herself as outstanding, peaceful, and a quick listener who sometimes watches but speaks less. She wrote: “Nakuhitaji wakati huu mgumu (I really need you at this difficult moment. Irene Imbuka: 5 Photos of Vihiga Teacher Who Died on Day of Husband’s Burial  Imbuka’s children Madam Imbuka and her husband were blessed with two wonderful children; Kevin and Mitchell, who are all grown up now. Before her death, she asked God to condole with the kids who were grieving their father. Sadly, the two had to endure the unimaginable task of taking their mother’s body to the morgue before returning home to bury their father. Imbuka poses with her daughter, Mitchell. 

Imbuka’s career path The deceased attended Bunyore Girls’ High School before joining Mount Kenya University to pursue a course in Early Childhood Education.  At the time of her demise, Imbuka was a beloved teacher at Bugina Junior School in Sabatia County. Imbuka poses for a photo in the staffroom.  Known for her warm heart and unwavering commitment to her students, the educator touched countless lives in her community. The double loss has left her family, friends, colleagues, and students in deep sorrow.
