Rapper Cardi B has been trending, facing backlashes for being a supporter of Kamala Harris who lost to Trump in the US presidential elections.
In her X-handLE post, she addresses her fans over the insults she is receiving from her haters and warns the trump supporters to leave her alone.
“so listen, I’m gonna let y’all know this right now, okay? So you little trumpets, like, y’all won. I know you’re happy, whatever the f**. Ain’t nobody acting like bitter losers. However, y’all need to leave me the f** alone. Because I got one more f**ng cigarette in me before I start lighting your asses up all right, and that’s where to the United States of America. Yeah. Yeah.” she said.
The American-based rapper endorsed the Presidential candidate Kamala Harris days before the concluded elections.
Right after Trump won the elections, the rapper penned a message on her Instagram post, Kamala Harris.
She then posted a video which she deleted immediately, saying “That why some of your states are getting hurricanes,”
Hours after Kamala Harris conceded defeat, Cardi B wrote a heartfelt message congratulating her for her hard work and the tolerance she had to go through during the campaign.
To Vice President Kamala, no matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency they can never say you didnt run your race with honesty and with integrity! You really put up a fight against all the odds that were already stacked against you! You never accepted defeat as an option which says so much about your strength and about your heart. You really wanted better for ALL of us!
This may not mean much but I am so proud of you! No one has ever made me change my mind and you did! I never thought I would see the day that a woman of color would be running for the President of the United States, but you have shown me, showed my daughters and women across the country that anything is possible. Thank you for being an example, thank you for being empowered, thank you for being a real example of what the American dream should be!
