Why KPLC schedules routine maintenance

According to a journal from Stratford, scheduled interruption occurs mainly to carry out periodic maintenance of the power supply infrastructure. The intent of periodic maintenance is to keep the flow of electricity in a steady supply free from unpredictable interruptions. The scheduled maintenance activities should always be performed periodically to ensure that the power supply equipment is in the right condition.

The maintenance requirements of the different components of the transmission network vary both in terms of the number of weeks required to perform them and their urgency. However, in the process of doing periodic maintenance, there is always power interruption that interferes with operations of a manufacturing company.
