Scophine Aoko, popularly known as Maverick Aoko, has been located alive near the Kenya-Tanzania border after weeks of her mysterious disappearance. Social media influencer Maverick Aoko was last seen on October 22. How was Aoko found? The social media commentator’s aide broke the news on social media, bringing relief to her friends and followers. According to the aide’s post on X on Friday, November 1, Aoko was found outside the gate of a hospital along the border, where an unidentified person reportedly dropped her off. “She’s been found at the Kenyan-Tanzania border.
Her family was called from a hospital. She was taken there by an unidentified person who said they found her outside their gate,” the aide shared. Though few details have emerged about her condition or how she came to be at the hospital, Aoko’s father is reported to be on his way to reunite with her. The aide, who expressed gratitude for the support received during the weeks of uncertainty, promised to share further updates once more information becomes available.
“Don’t know much at the moment, but the father is on his way there. Will keep you updated. Thank you for standing with her,” her aide added. LSK demands release of Aoko On Sunday, October 27, Aoko’s silence prompted the president of the Law Society of Kenya, Faith Odhiambo, to call on the public to share any information on Aoko’s whereabouts. Odhiambo also directly appealed to those holding Aoko, demanding her immediate release and emphasising that any grievances against her be addressed within legal boundaries.
Aoko’s disappearance came amid ongoing legal battles, as she faces allegations of cyber harassment and defamation following her arrest by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in August. Aoko’s followers expressed growing concern, with many urging for her safe return and transparency regarding her status.
