Brand Influencer Mylee Staicey has opened up about the benefits of dating privately. The content creator, looking forward to becoming a wife, outlined the qualities she seeks in a potential spouse: "You must be hard-working, loving and caring, responsible, financially stable, and generous."
Mylee initially rose to fame while dating a well-known celebrity and working as a fashion influencer.
She reminisced about their first encounter, saying, "We met online, then I went for a show, and we met face-to-face."
They began dating shortly after exchanging phone numbers. That relationship eventually ended, and Mylee later met another man at an event.
Reflecting on this new connection, she shared, "We started getting to know each other, just that I don’t post these things. He showed me a whole different world. Like, he would treat me nicely, take me out on nice dates."
Describing her past partner as "tall, dark, and with a beard," she added that he would spoil her with thoughtful gestures like sending food and wine—“These were things I was not used to,” she stated.
Their relationship lasted six months before ending due to his concern that she was using him as a rebound. "Si mbaba, he was a very nice young guy, si ati he was established in life," Mylee clarified, expressing appreciation for his kindness. "I feel like, at some point, I owe him. He used to treat me like a queen."
Mylee acknowledged her tendency to move on quickly, explaining, "Let’s be honest, after breaking up, you will hurt. I was just moving from one relationship to the next, like there’s no healing period, but I’m someone who cries in front. Isn’t that what YY has taught us?"
Currently dating someone new, Mylee said, "Tunasonga ikiendaga," and shared her belief that "You can have been dating for eight years, you break up, you find another person for three months, and already want to settle with them."
Although they’ve been together for a year, she’s choosing not to make this relationship public, saying, "I said I will never make my relationship public ever again."
