The family of former Inooro presenter Martin Kihara wa Gathua has paid glowing tributes to him.Kihara Wa Gathua's Family Heartbroken by His Death Months after Losing Mum: "Say Hi to Mama"  Gathua succumbed to cancer on Sunday, October 13, while receiving treatment at the Kenyatta University (KU) Referral Hospital IN NAIROBI. Kihara wa Gathua's siblings heartbroken by his death The media personalities' brothers and sisters admitted his death was a big blow to them just months after burying their mother.  Wanjiku Francis shares TBT photos of her and her brother reminiscing their sweet old days, accompanied by a heartbreaking message below.

 "My brother Kihara Gathua😢😢Nianze wapi sasa.. Dear God we accept your will. It is well 😢😢." Museveni Mugathua Bahati paid a glowing tribute to his brother, describing him as his best friend. Mugathua also revealed he walked his brother through the cancer journey, sharing that he was pained by his demise.  "I am shocked to lose my best friend, a legendary icon. Kîamami as I used to call you, you loved life within those years. You enjoyed it to your best. I love you immensely brother and I promise to honor your legacy by continuing to help and inspire others just as you did and mostly defending the Gathuas. 

Your infectious smile and the spirit of generosity will live on through the lives you have touched. You have left visible footprints in the sand of times! Am Happy to have walked with you through the tough journey. Am so much heartbroken that we won't do business that we were planning to do. Maitu must be very happy to see you. Huruka thayu kiamami. Cancer will die one day," he wrote. Another sibling, John Gathua pampered the fallen journalist with praises for bringing a great change in the vernacular media industry. "A veteran and a legend who anchored change in the vernacular Media Industry. A friend and a firstborn brother who ensured the welfare of all of us was well catered for. In your sleep bro, say hi to mama! Safiri salama Kiamaitu," he wrote.
