Kenyan Ladies Devastated as Bearded Super Metro Conductor Dies: "Heartbreaking”

 

News that Gerald Njoroge Mwangi, alias Mwas, has died, has struck a cord among many Kenyan ladies. Gerald Njoroge Mwangi was injured in a road accident before dying in hospital.  What happened to Super Metro conductor? Mwas, a conductor with the Super Metro Sacco, was injured in the line of duty. The graduate is known for his neat attire, professionalism, and full beard, which have endeared him to many female passengers. In a Thursday, October 10 post, the sacco announced that Mwas had been admitted to the Kenyatta National Hospital.

 In an urgent blood appeal, Super Metro disclosed that Mwas needed blood group B positive and gave the contact information. News of his accident spread like bushfire, with numerous women offering to support him by donating blood. However, on Friday, October 11, one of his close friends confirmed that he had passed away in the morning. Harmony, who was in charge of the blood drive, said details of the accident were scanty, but he was thrown out of the moving vehicle upon impact. “They were hit from behind, and there was a car that hit them. They were leaving one of the stages along the highway when the accident happened. He was at the door and was thrown out," she told TUKO.co.ke.

 Harmony said Mwas was undergoing dialysis as his kidneys were unstable. He disclosed that he was a degree holder, and his mum disputed his interest in the makanga job. Mwas said he became a conductor due to poverty and a lack of an alternative job. His mother eventually embraced the job as he started earning a living.
