While still working as a driver at MUVI TV, Mwale also ventured into education, establishing a private school. This school, which is still operational today, employs several teachers and contributes to the local community.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mwale is also an elder in the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church.
