On Sunday, October 20, Kiengei announced that on Valentine's Day, February 2025, they will host a couple's event at the church. He added that they would be a guest artiste from Tanzania to perform. After the announcement, he asked his wife, who was dressed in a stylish sky-blue dress and a wavy wig, to lead the church in worship.  The shy mother of two blushed and could be seen hiding behind her husband.

Recently, the Jesus Compassion Ministries founder denied claims he has a mistress, stating that he has only one wife.  The two lovebirds have been posting each other regularly of late, serving couple goals to the envy of many. On Sunday, September 8, the media personality turned preacher shared lovely photos with his wife wearing matching red outfits, to prove they are in love. The two lovebirds wore the clothes while attending a Sunday service at their Nairobi church. 

The father of three uploaded one of the photos as his profile photo on Facebook to affirm his love for Joy. Why Bishop Kiengei doesn't want offering A week ago, the man of God threatened to flog church members who do not help their poor parents back in the village. The city preacher asked his congregants whose parents were suffering in the villages not to give offering, but to send the money to the parents. Kiengei's remarks come days after Pastor James Ng'ang'a trashed offering during a past service, terming it as very little.
