Eric Omondi's Lover Lynne Claims He's Missing after Planning Parallel Mashujaa Day: "Release My Man"

Comedian Eric Omondi has reportedly been abducted by unknown people. Eric Omondi reportedly abducted by unknown individuals.  His wife Lynne has taken to social media to make the announcement, pleading for his release. "Release Eric Omondi now. This is becoming too much. Eric Omondi's whereabouts are unknown. Release my man, please," Lynne wrote. How was Eric Omondi abducted? She added that the comedian-turned-activist had been abducted alongside content creator Trudy. . The mother of one also lamented that the constitution was becoming powerless.

 "Erick Omondi has been ambushed and taken by unknown people together with @trudykitui . Kindly let’s spread the message. The Constitution is becoming powerless day by day. We clearly have no rights as the people of Kenya," she added. Why did Eric Omondi announce parallel Mashujaa Day? Notably, Eric was planning to hold parallel Mashujaa Day celebrations at Uhuru Park to clash with the official 61st Mashujaa Day function that was hosted at Kwale Stadium. Eric's event would honour the protesters who were killed during anti-Finance Bill 2024 protests. 

During the protests, over 20 innocent young Kenyans were killed by the anti-riot police, according to the KNCHR report. According to the comedian, it was important to celebrate these individuals as heroes who sacrificed their lives for better governance in the country. "It's official! We will host a parallel Mashujaa Day mega event on October 20 to honour our heroes who lost their lives during the protests. Please suggest a suitable venue so we can book it today. The parents and families of the heroes will be seated on the main dais as our chief guests," he stated.
