A kind man identified as Eugene Olasa is delighting Butual villagers by changing the lives of vulnerable families one house at a time. What is the mandate of the National Council of Youth Center? In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, Olasa said that he calls his friends to help contribute and build houses for widows, orphans. " I have spearheaded contributions to build 13 houses so far," said Olasa, a youth leader working with the National Council of Youth Center as a volunteer.
According to their official X.com page National Youth Council is a body corporate established through an Act of Parliament of 2009 to primarily act as an official voice of the youth in Kenya. Currently, he is serving as a youth chairman of Butula Sub-County. After living there for some time and owing to his position he came across many needy families. “After I got the post as a youth chair of Butula Sub-County, I decided to help improve the lives of our people,” he noted. Apart from building the houses for widows in Busia, Olasa also shares food items to countless families, which brings them hope.
