A video of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s sons looking sad outside The Karen Hospital, where their father is currently hospitalised, has moved Kenyans. Rigathi Gachagua’s sons move Kenyans to tears after appearing in-low spirits at The Karen Hospital. What is Rigathi Gachagua suffering from? The deputy president was rushed to The Karen Hospital on the afternoon of Thursday, October 17, after he fell ill. Speaking in the Senate, senior counsel Paul Muite disclosed that he had managed to speak with the doctors attending to Gachagua. According to Muite, the DP was admitted after suffering from intense chest pains. The senior counsel further revealed that Gachagua’s doctors had advised him (Gachagua) to rest completely for some time.
“I would like to inform honourable senators that I’ve been able to contact the doctors at Karen Hospital, and because of his condition, I was not able to directly talk to him on the advice of his doctors, who said he must have complete rest for the time being. I was however, informed by his doctors that he’s currently suffering intense chest pains. I did not want to inquire beyond that,” Muite said. Muite pleaded with Speaker Amason Kingi to pause the impeachment proceedings until the foregoing date. Kenyans console Rigathi Gachagua’s sons While Gachagua’s doctor, Dr Dan Gikonyo, was addressing the press from The Karen Hospital, his two sons, Kevin and Keith, stood behind him.
