Multi-award-winning musician and entrepreneur Taylor Allison Swift has scaled the ladder to become the world’s richest female artist with her net worth shooting to billions.
The “Bad Blood” hitmaker according to Forbes Magazine now occupies the number one spot, overthrowing veteran singer, actress, and beauty mogul Rihanna who according to the business magazine is reportedly worth $1.4 billion.
In an update released recently, Taylor has amassed a net worth of $1.6 billion making her the wealthiest female artist across the globe.
Besides topping the female list, TayTay also comes in at number two on the list of richest musicians in the world, with legendary rapper and music producer Jay-Z topping the Forbes list with an estimate of $2.5 billion. Surprisingly enough, in the overall billionaires list, the ‘Shake It Off’ singer is ranked at 2,117th place.
The 34-year-old singer and songwriter known widely for her biographical songwriting, artistic reinventions, and adoring fanbase joined the billion-dollar status last year following huge earnings from her worldwide “The Eras Tour”, royalties, and music catalog. Marking her first-ever appearance on Forbes’ annual billionaires list. Interestingly, the publication maintains Riri still holds the title of “Richest Female Musician of All Time”, as her net worth was previously estimated to be $1.77 billion.
Forbes noted Rihanna’s massive wealth shootup was credited mainly to the success of her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line and her growing Savage x Fenty lingerie empire.
It is reported Taylor, who is currently dating football star Travis Kelce earned $600 million from her tours and royalties, as well as an additional $600 million from her catalogue and an additional $125 million from her real estate dealings.
