A school girl who died after falling off the school building has finally been laid to rest in an emotional ceremony.  Michelle Cheptoo, who unfortunately died on the morning of Saturday, September 28, was buried at her village home. Families, friends and schoolmates attended the ceremony as they gave the teenager a befitting send-off. Sironga Girls hold memorial for Cheptoo Before the burial, a memorial service was held in Sironga Girls High School before the deceased’s body could be transported home.”

A memorial service for Mitchell Cheptoo, a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidate, held at Sironga Girls’ National School after she tragically died by jumping from her dormitory,” a post read. At the burial in Saptet village, Kimulot ward, Konoin, Bomet county, tears freely flowed as the 17-year-old girl was buried. Many showed up for the occasion to stand with the grieving family as they mounted the young soul with great potential. Kenyans console Cheptoo’s family Social media users headed to the comment section to offer condolences as they showed solidarity to stand with the hurting in their low moment. Patrick Mbehelo: “Very sad for the family. May God comfort the soul of late student Cheptoo eternally.”
