A middle-aged woman has unfortunately passed away following a disagreement with her husband. Kajiado woman Lucy Wambui Mathenge was allegedly attacked by her husband, David Njoroge. Lucy Wambui Mathenge was allegedly attacked by her husband, David Njoroge, after a heated disagreement in their rental home. Wambui’s husband stabbed her, and the wounds were so severe that efforts by the neighbours to rush her to the hospital and save her life bore no fruit. “The internal organs, including the heart, were severely injured from the attack, and the deceased lost a lot of blood. She could not be saved because of the severity of the attack, which was fatal,” he said. The neighbours at Kitengela, Kajiado county, tried to catch the suspect, but their efforts were futile as he escaped. However, Isinya sub-county police commander Patrick Manyasi noted that investigations were already underway, along with a hunt for the suspect.
