The gospel music group from Tanzania, Zabron Singers, has released a new song to mourn and bid farewell to their fellow member, Marco Joseph, who passed away last week.

In the song titled ‘Inaniuma Sana,’ the choir members are seen grieving deeply, dressed in black clothing as a symbol of mourning.

“This has made me cry a lot, this has hurt me deeply, this time I am really hurting, my God help me. Why have you left me like this, in this I am deeply hurt, I confess I really need you, my God help me…”

“If you had asked me, I wouldn’t have agreed to let my dear one go, my beloved friend to go, God, no, it’s not okay with me. The plans we had made have come to an end, for you it’s okay, but I’m left alone, what will I do, I’m left alone, God, no, it’s not okay with me…” part of the song’s introductory verses sing.

Marco Joseph was buried last Sunday, two days after his death at a hospital in Tanzania where he was receiving treatment.

He was the lead singer of the renowned Tanzanian choir Zabron, which includes Japhet Zabron, Victoria Zabron, Jamila Dotto, Samuel Joseph, Semroza Godfrey, Grace Madata, and Joyce Zabron.

Zabron Singers gained widespread recognition through their song 'Mkono Wa Bwana,' a song their leader Japhet Zabron says still identifies them wherever they go.
