Webuye: Philanthropist Offers to Pay Fees for Student Pictured Stranded Outside KMTC Gate

Good Samaritan Offers to Pay Fees for Student Pictured Stranded Outside KMTC Gate

In a heartwarming act of kindness, Dickson Dikitaro Tanui has pledged to pay one term's fees for a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student.  Tanui's generous offer came after an image of a father and daughter outside the KMTC campus went viral. The heartbreaking photo captured the emotional moment as father and daughter struggled to find a way forward.   In the image, a father is seen sitting on the ground, holding an envelope believed to be his daughter's admission letter. His daughter stood in full KMTC uniform beside him, seemingly lost in thought. The father's distressed expression suggested that he could not raise the required college fees, a challenge shared by many Kenyan families.

Moved by their plight, Tanui took to social media to offer his assistance. In a post that quickly garnered attention. "Who knows this father? I promise to pay school fees for one term for her KMTC daughter. That's the little I can offer," he wrote. His words resonated deeply with many, as his offer symbolized hope and compassion for the family. Tanui’s act of kindness has been widely praised, with many lauding him for stepping in to help during a difficult time. If the kindhearted man keeps his promise, the young woman will have a chance to pursue her dreams at KMTC, at least for one term. Reactions as man offers to help stranded KMTC student Kenyans flooded Dickson Dikitaro Tanui's comments section following his act of kindness.

Bivon: "I am short of words.. May you be blessed abundantly Mr Tanui." Ng'asurai Jonah Junior: "Cooperative issues boss .. co operating with the emerging issues kongoi sir."
