Teacher Painfully Narrates How His Death Was Faked, Pension Stolen: "As I'm Speaking I'm Dead"

A former teacher, Titus Sabwami, has revealed the shocking details of how his identity was stolen and his death faked. Sabwami said he's been writing letters to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) CEO but never received any response. Sabwami explained that his tribulations were part of an elaborate scheme to defraud him of his hard-earned pension. In an interview, Sabwami, a retired teacher, explained that in 2012, he was hospitalised and later discovered that someone had forged his death certificate. . He narrated that he kept writing letters to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) CEO but never received any response.

 According to Sabwami, the impostors had a man he identified as Emmanuel Nali Kakai pose as his son and the next of kin. "In 2012, nikawa hospitalised alafu for a number of years. I've been writing to the TSC CEO but no response. So all of a sudden, I've come to realise that somebody in the name Emmanuel Nali Kakai; they nominated him to be my son that is the next of kin," Sabwai narrated. How much did Sabwai lose In disbelief, Sabwami explained how Kakai, along with another man, Franklin Kakai, managed to withdraw a staggering KSh 7 million, which was his accumulated pension.  

He said the money was meant for him after decades of service in the teaching profession, adding that according to his file, he's dead. Sabwami said the two men behind this cruel act include one being in the military (KDF) in Gilgil and the other a trained lawyer who remains unemployed. "He was given around KSh 7 million, which was supposed to be my accumulated money. As I am speaking like this, they have pronounced me dead; they've used the burial permit and the death certificate in my file. That is Emanuel Nali Kakai and Franklin Kakai, those are the crooks that forged that I am their father and I passed away. This man in Gilgil is a KDF, and this one trained as a lawyer but is not employed anywhere," he said, his voice filled with frustration.
