Rich Homie Quan's girlfriend explains how she discovered his lifeless body

Atlanta rapper Richi Homie  Quan was reported to have passed on the 5th of September 2024.

Heartbreaking audio has surfaced on the internet between 911 and his girlfriend Rella asking for medical help.

In the audio Rella is emotionally explaining how she woke up to find him without a heartbeat.

"My boyfriend has been asleep on the couch since this morning.I left him on the couch before I took my son to school and put a blanket over him. When I checked on him again he was not breathing ."  she said 

Dequantes Devontay Lamar known by many as Rich Homie Quan was born on October 4, 1989, in Atlanta Georgia in America.

He grew up in the East Atlanta neighborhood, where he was influenced by the local hip-hop scene.

Quan began his music career in 2012 but blew up the following year with the hit Type Of Way.

The song marked a significant milestone in his life as it entered the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100, paving the way for him to collaborate with notable rappers in the industry like Young Thug on the Cash Money Records. Together, they formed Rich Gang and released another hit, "Lifestyle," in 2014.

He has passed away leaving behind 4 sons and 1 daughter. The cause of his death is said to be an alleged drug overdose.

Sometime back on an interview with the Voice of Los Angeles Big Boy, Quan criticized how fans give much attention to artists when they're dead rather than giving them their flowers when they are still alive.

"I just hate how when an artist dies it's almost like the culture pays more attention to us when we're dead. I don't like that, be real. You could be screaming our music while we here." he said
