Nithi Bridge Accident: Woman Narrates Escaping Death after Asking Mum to Travel in Ill-Fated Van

Purity Kogoria has shared that she would have been in the ill-fated van that killed 12 people on the Nithi Bridge if she had stuck to her earlier plans. .  Where is Nkubu located in Kenya? Purity was among the 20 people who had travelled to Nkubu, in Meru county, to seek parental blessings in a colourful ceremony that saw them enjoy and dance for their parents According to Purity, she had errands to run, so she asked her mother, Evangeline, to go and open their business, and she would follow later. 

Sadly, that was the last time she talked with her dear mother, who was among the 12 killed. "After my function, we were supposed to visit Kagundo, but sadly, the person who was to follow me has left us," said Damaris Kathira, who had hosted them in Meru.
