'Nilikojoa mpaka high school' Njugush shares his childhood trauma
Comedian Njugush |
Njugush has shared how wetting his bed till his High school days affected his self-esteem.
He found it difficult to share such an issue with his friends since it acted as his insecurity.
In an interview, the comedian narrated the hardships he had gone through due to disturbing occurrences. The actor even had night clothes just meant for sleeping.
The comedian felt ashamed airing his bedding both at home and school.
" kukujoa was frowned upon,,, hutaki marafiki zako wajue,,"
"Nilikojoa mpaka highschool ,,,,, Nilikojoa day one ya admission,,,,,singetoa mattress nje,,,, so usiku unajua mahali ya kulala kesho unapendua side ingine,"
What suprised Njugush is that his wife Celestine Ndida also had the same problem. The couple had the worst traumas growing up.
He was laughed at in high school by his peers. He overcame it after realizing one of his friends also had the same problem.
Which came with challenges. They were always blamed for dragging the dormitory behind with the dirt and uncomfortable odor.
The experience he had brings back funny memories. Njugush even makes fun of the scenarios he had gone through as a child.
He is not ashamed nowadays to share such humorous moments. He is proud he had gone through wetting the bed to where he is right now.
