Nairobi: 23-Year-Old College Student Goes Missing After Leaving Hostel, Skipping Classes

Linah Wanjiru Mungai, a 23-year-old Information Technology (IT) student at RTI College in South B, has been reported missing. Wanjiru was last seen on Wednesday, September 11, when she left the college hostel but never made it to class. Wanjiru's brother, Kingangi Mungai, told TUKO.co.ke that his sister's silence raised alarm among her friends and family. 

According to her peers, Linah left the hostel in the morning but did not attend any of her scheduled classes later that day. "No one has seen or heard from her since, and her friends have expressed concern as none of them know her current whereabouts," he said. Efforts to reach her by phone have been unsuccessful, and the circumstances surrounding her disappearance remain unclear. Wanjiru's family is appealing to the public for any information that may help locate her. "She was wearing a blue pair of trousers and a white hoodie on the day she disappeared," Mungai added. Anyone with details about her whereabouts is urged to contact the nearest police station.
