KPLC - 4 Counties to Experience Power Interruptions Today

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has announced power interruptions in several parts of the country on Wednesday, the 4th.

In a statement released on Sunday evening, the company mentioned that the power interruptions is due to maintenance work that will be carried out on the power stations.

The four counties that will be affected by the interruptions are below:

NAIROBI REGION

Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Affected areas: 2nd & 3rd Parklands Ave, Kusi Lane, Ngao Rd, and adjacent customers. Thika Rd, Ramanda, Muthaiga North Rd, Utalii Village, NYS, NIS, KISM, Survey of Kenya, GSU, and adjacent customers.

WESTERN REGION

Time: 8:00 A.M. – 3:00 P.M.

Affected Areas: Wildor School, K. Ochieng Centre, Kausi Mkt, Nyamonge, Tom Owuor, Mayienya Sec Sch, Chiga Mkt, Obumba Sch, Kasese Mkt, Masawa, Kasarani, Hera Church, Rweya, Bungu, and adjacent customers.

Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Affected areas: Lutaso Mkt, Nancy Academy, Mukhweso Junction, Navakholo Mkt, Dorofu Mkt, and adjacent customers.

SOUTH NYANZA REGION

Time: 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

Affected areas: Kotieno, Makaka, Seka, Kamser Seka, Rambira, Karabondi, Kajiei, Rakwaro, Osodo, Kobala, Burlum, Konyach, and adjacent customers. Sanganyi, Kebirigo, Makairo, Sironga, Konate, Miruka, Nyamira Town, and adjacent customers.

EMBU COUNTY

Time: 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.

Affected areas: Kivaa Mkt, Kengen Hydro Plaza, Kyaani Mkt, Kyaani Pri, Kanguu, Masaku, Ngetani, Kyangosi, Nunguni, Kathui Pri, and adjacent customers.
