Joho, Kalonzo among leaders at Hasmukh Patel's funeral service

Mining and Blue Economy Cabinet Secretary Hassan Joho and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka are among the leaders attending the funeral service of Mombasa Cement tycoon and philanthropist Hasmukk Patel in Mombasa County.

In the service taking place on Sunday at Nyali, the former Mombasa governor and Kalonzo can be spotted interacting in a light discussion as people trickle in to mourn the philanthropist.

Earlier, a procession to cremate the industrialists went through various streets in Mombasa.

The body was removed from the Pandya Memorial Hospital morgue at 8 am.

Carried in a special casket and a sitting position, the body was taken around about five Hindu temples in Mombasa.
