Hillside Endarasha Academy Parent Says He Doesn't Plan to Transfer Son From School: "Ni ajali"

Paul Kung'u says he wont transfer his kid

Paul Kung'u, a parent of a student at Hillside Endarasha Academy, confirmed he has no plans to transfer his son from the school following the fire incident. Peter Kung'u stated that his son will continue attending Hillside Endarasha Academy despite the fire incident.  The Endarasha fire incident that occurred on Thursday, September 5, claimed the lives of 21 pupils and left at least 27 injured.

Why won't Kung'u transfer son from Endarasha Academy? In an interview with Nation, Kung'u stated that he believes the tragic incident was simply an accident, like any other. He added that the incident will not prompt him to transfer his son to another school, as accidents can occur anywhere. "So, in my opinion, my son will keep attending school," Kung'u said. He also urged parents who lost their children to continue trusting in God, as He will provide strength during these difficult times. How did Kung'u find out about Endarasha fire?

Kung'u also described how he learned about the fire incident at the school where his son is enrolled. He said he was in Thika when he received a call informing him of the tragedy. "I left Thika immediately and rushed to Hillside. I am happy that my son is okay and that he rescued other students from the fire. I am labelling him a hero. I am so happy," Kung'u added.
