Bishop Muthee Kiengei breaks silence on rumours he is cheating on his wife.

Bishop Muthee Kiengei has been forced to speak after rumours that he was cheating on his wife, Reverend Joy Ngaru. Bishop Muthee Kiengei breaks silence on rumours he is cheating on his wife. What's the relationship between Muthee Kiengei and Dama? Early this year, rumours circulated that Kiengei was allegedly cheating on his wife, with a renowned businesswoman, Dama, forcing him to respond. Addressing his congregation on Sunday, February 25, the Jesus Compassion Ministries founder defended Dama, who is a matron at his church.  "Dama, even if you are told that you are my wife, calm down. No one can resist being with a lady like you, not even the fathers of those bloggers. If we were seen with a low-class girl, nobody would bother with us because we would be losing respect. But because even if I need a million, I will ask you, my lady, and be content. Even the bloggers would praise their fathers if told who you are, they would start asking if you are married. In this world, no one will bother with you if you walk with trash," he said. How many wives does Muthee Kiengei have? For the past week, the man of God has been trending, with many claiming he was cheating on his wife and Dama was allegedly fighting over him. On Sunday, September 1, Kiengei, who locked his social media comment section so that no one comments on his posts, stated that he is only married to one wife, quashing rumours that he has a mistress. While inviting visitors to his church, he said: "I am Bishop Gathungu, and no word has come from God yet to change that. And our church is a good one. Feel free to worship and praise. And this church's bishop has a brain...this church's bishop is married to only one woman...coz he knows the Bible says a clergyman should marry only one wife so as to be able to manage his home affairs. And when he is able to manage his home affairs, all will fall into place. And I want to invite my wife to say hi so that y'all can know her. If I ever desire another, I will ask for permission," he said before inviting his wife to greet the congregation.  Kiengei's statement sent the congregation into jubilation and cheered as Joy shyly looked at her husband before she joined him at the pulpit. Below is the video: Reactions include: Pauline Mbugua said: "Thank you for the clarification." Muchemi Cabueh said: "Why am I reminded of a Former Kenyan President by this statement? The smile on his only wife then, is still fresh on my mind. 😂." Eva Muchemi said: "Protect your wife...thank you and God's divine protection be with you."
