Ali Kiba Directs His Radio Station Crown FM to Play only Bongo Songs for Whole Week

Bongo singer Ali Kiba

Legendary Bongo singer Ali Kiba has ordered his media house, Crown FM and Crown TV, to play Bongo songs for a whole week. Ali Kiba pushes for Bongo music dominance during Bongo Flavour Week. This is done as Tanzanians celebrate Bongo Flavour Week, a way of honouring the special occasion. Tanzanian radio presenter Mwijaku revealed this during his interaction with Kenyan influencer Casypool, who had gone to Tanzania. Why will Ali Kiba's media house play only Bongo songs?

In a video originally shared by Mwijaku, the vocal radio host welcomed Casypool to Tanzania and told him the news. He stated that Kiba had commanded his media employees to go all Bongo during the week. "You have come to Tanzania as we mark the Bongo Flavour Week. King Kiba has issued an order for Crown Media to play only Bongo songs for the entire week. We have heeded his command," Mwijaku said. In another video, Mwijaku explained that Kiba had taken the decision to promote and elevate Bongo music. He said: "One of the new developments is that Ali Kiba, after launching his media house, directed that his station (Crown FM and TV) play only Bongo music for an entire week.

Those are some of the ideas that elevate our music."  When was Crown Media launched? As we previously told you, Kiba marked two decades in the music industry with the grand launch of Crown Media. Crown Media was unveiled on Saturday, March 9, at the Hyatt Regency in Dar es Salaam. The artiste's journey from a small radio gifted by his father to a media mogul reflected the power of this medium. Esteemed guests, including former president Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete and Minister of Information Nape Moses Nnauye, graced the star-studded launch event. They recognised the Tanzanian crooner's enduring influence and applauded his commitment to the Tanzanian music industry.
