The principal of St Mary’s Mumias Girls’ surprised her students during the school’s Culture Day by stepping out in full school uniform. St. Mary’s Girls Mumias Principal Excites Students by Donning School Uniform on Culture Day The event was meant to celebrate the school’s rich cultural diversity, but the principal’s bold move stole the show. Her uniform consisted of a royal blue skirt and pullover, a sky blue blouse, a school tie, white socks, and black shoes per the students’ daily dress code. 

The look made it nearly impossible for many to distinguish her from her younger charges at first glance. Photos captured the heartwarming gesture, sending waves of excitement and admiration across the student body. Students erupted into cheers and applause as she strutted across the stage during the event’s opening ceremony. Many noted that the act made them feel more connected to her, showing her willingness to embrace their experiences. Entrepreneur Sam Vidambu, who shared the photo, noted that he always tells principals to do things that get them closer to their students. 

“Wearing their uniform even if it is once in a term to surprise them, or eat with them in the dining hall,” he wrote. He reiterated that in high school, the little things matter, and students may forget all the things said at the assembly, but they will never forget how one made them feel.
