Kenya Power has listed areas in nine counties scheduled for power interruptions on Wednesday.
The power interruption is scheduled to take place between 8 am and 5 pm in parts of nine counties.
Parts of Nairobi, Kisii, Homa Bay, Migori, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Laikipia, Embu and Garissa counties will experience power interruption
Nairobi
The areas in Nairobi will have power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are part of ICIPE Road, AIC Kasarani, KISE and Bamboo East.
Garden Estate: Parts of Garden Estate will have power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm include Mountain Mall, Blue Spring Hotel, Claret, Quiver, Homeland, and Tome Pole.
School Lane: Areas include School Lane, Bank of Africa, Lions Place, Muguga Green and adjacent customers.
Mamlaka Road: Areas to have power interruptions from 9 am to 1 pm include State House Road, Part of Arboretum Drive, Riverside Drive, Riverside Gardens, UoN Chiromo Campus, Dusit D2, Chiromo Mortuary, Prime Bank, Part of Ring Road Westlands, Chiromo University Hostels, Royal Apartments, Kolobot Drive, Taj Apartments, Confucius Institute, Ring Road Kileleshwa, Delta Riverside, The Office Park, Mzima Springs Rd, 9th Riverside, One Riverside Drive and International Organization for Migration.
Others are Keystone Park, Riverside Paddocks, Riverside Lane, Gem Suits, Strathmore School, Mundari Kindergarten, Part of Tende Drive, Millennium Apartments, Riverside Mews, German Embassy, Uganda High Commission, Ibury Lounge, Riverside West Lane, Mamlaka Road, St. Andrews Church, Part of University of Nairobi, YWCA., Alico House, Nairobi Water, Serena Hotel, Nairobi Primary, St. Paul Chapel, Inside State House, UoN Residence Halls, State House Girls, UoN Staff Clinic and Radisson Blue Hotel.
Kisii
Areas in Kisii will have power cuts from 8 am to 4 pm.
They include part of Nyamarambe Town, Nduru Boys, Nduru Girls, Gesosnso, Nyakembene, Matangamano, Emesa, Nyabigena, Mochengo and Nyamarambe Level 4 Hospital.
Homa Bay
Parts of Homa Bay will have power cuts are 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Obera Boys, Kanyangasi, Magina Girls, and Lwanda Kawuor.
Migori
Areas in Migori to have power interruption from 9 am to 4 pm include Migori airstrip, Kefri, Nyanchabo, Masaba, Nyamamagagana, Kurutyange, Ikerege, Tarawiti, Koego, Kyametaburo, Nyamaranya, Karosi, Kehancha Town, St. Kizito, Maeta, Kegonga, Igena, Nyabikongori, Kebarisia, Mosweto, Nyamutiro, Kebaroti, Makararangwe, and Ntimaru.
Nyeri
Parts of Nyeri to experience power cuts from 8 am to 5 pm include Karura Market, Karura C/Fact, Karura Primary School, Eng. Maina, Gathumbi Village, Part of Unjiru Village, Ngari Junior Village, Ragati Primary School, Ragati Secondary School, Iharu Village, Gikumbo Market, Kiandara Village, Gathambo TBC, Gaturumo-Ini TBC, Kiamigwi Village, Shauri Moyo, Kihuro Village, Gaikuyu Market and Magutu Secondary School.
Kirinyaga
Areas in Kirinyaga to experience power cuts from 9 am to 4 pm include Kagio Market, Kandongu Market, Part of Sagana Town, Rubis Petrol Station, Maya Hotel and Market, Blessed Almano Highcrest, and Kinyaga.
Laikipia
Areas in Laikipia to have power cuts from 9 am to 4.30 pm include the whole of Chumvi, Oltasha, Doldol Market, Olkinyei, Kiwanja Ndege, Illipollei, Kimanjo and Ol-Donyiro.
Embu
Parts of Embu to have power cuts from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm include the whole of Runyenjes Town, Runyenjes Hospital, DC’s Office, Runyenjes Police Station, Moi Mbiruri School, Nthangaiya Mission, KCC Runyenjes, Kagaari Farmers, Kigaa C/Fact, Kianguchu C/Fact, Gikuuri Market, Ugweri Market, Ngeniari Market, and Nduuri Market.
Other areas in Embu to experience power disruption from 9 am to 5 pm include Ena Market, St. Mary Immaculate, Kithunguthi Market, Gitararu Market, and Kawanjara Safaricom Booster.
Garissa
Areas will experience power interruptions from 9 am to 4 pm.
They are parts of Garissa Town, Provincial Headquarters, Police Headquarters, Governor’s Office, KBC, Madogo and Bangale.
