Kenyans Camp on NPS’s X Account Demanding Arrest of Acting IG Masengeli: “Kiburi Itaisha”

Kenyans have flooded the National Police Service (NPS) X account, calling for the arrest of Acting Inspector General Gilbert Masengeli. Kenyans have swarmed the NPS X account, demanding the arrest of Acting Inspector General Gilbert Masengeli.  When did Kenyans camp on NPS’s account? Kenyans swarmed the NPS X account after they posted an update titled “Acting IG Masengeli on the security assessment of Mandera, Wajir, and Garissa counties.” The post further stated that Masengeli was at Mandera Police Station meeting with NPS officers after first stopping in Wajir. ” IG, who is accompanied by DCI Mr. Mohamed I.

Kenyans appeared frustrated that the acting IG was conducting security assessments despite ignoring six court summons. On Monday, September 9, Masengeli was required to appear in court to explain the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of three people in Kitengela. However, the police boss sent DIG Kenya Police Service Eliud Lagat to represent him saying he was in Wajir over security matters.
