Sultana actress Winnie Bwire Ndubi, popularly known as Dida, has sadly passed away after a long battle with cancer. Bwire Ndubi was receiving treatment in Turkey when she died. Is Winnie Bwire dead? It’s a sad day on the internet after Kenyans learnt of the demise of the beloved actress. She lit up the lives of Kenyans on television, and her demise has come as a blow to Kenyans at large.
The family of the late actress announced her demise, revealing that she succumbed to cancer while in Turkey. Dida had asked Kenyans for financial support while battling the disease, asking them to give what they could. She travelled to Turkey for treatment in August, knowing she would emerge victorious as a fighter. The family statement read: “It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce Winfred Bwire Ndubi lost her battle with cancer on 5th September, 2024 while undergoing treatment in Turkey.
We thank you all for your overwhelming support, prayers and generous giving during her treatment. We will share more details in due course. The cancer warrior shared photos of her clean shaved head, wearing a white dress accompanied by cancer awareness hashtags.
