The reunion of The Real Housewives of Nairobi is airing in two parts. The first part, which aired on August 16, brought plenty of drama to the fans.
Vera Sidika and Minne Kariuki clashed after much speculation that the two former best friends were no longer close.
The tension escalated when Zena accused Minne of telling her that Vera was broke. During the reunion, Vera confronted Minne, who was ready to defend herself against these allegations.
Zena exclaimed, "She said you were living in the dark for nearly a week. You went to the US and came back without money." Vera then jumped out of her seat, demanding answers from Minne, shouting, "Minne, are you crazy?!"
Vera has since broken her silence. On Friday, August 16, she reposted fans' opinions on her Instagram stories.
One fan shared a screenshot of the reunion trailer, asking Vera if she was still friends with Minne, with the mother of one confirming the rumours that they were no longer friends insinuating that her beef was caused by Minne lying about her.
Later, Vera shared another screenshot of a fan who weighed in on the supposed beef, saying, "I've watched the show, but in all the seasons I have never seen you bad-mouth any of the ladies. You always tell them to their faces and try to find the good in people. I remember the scene where you were consoling Rejah even after she was wrong. You're a nice woman, V."
For those keeping up, Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Nairobi brought back Dr. Catherine Masitsa, Vera Sidika, and Minne Kariuki.
They were joined by newcomers—competitive bodybuilding athlete Farah Esmail, aesthetics entrepreneur Zena Nyambu, and Reja Keji Lada.
The first season of The Real Housewives of Nairobi launched in 2023 and won Best TV Show at the 2024 Kalasha Awards held in March.
