Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua interacting with Kisumu City residents |
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Friday took his signature early morning walk, meeting with Kisumu residents.
Gachagua described the exercise as a healthy way to recharge his body and mind for the day's tasks.
The DP is expected to join President William Ruto on his development tour in Siaya.
"It was reenergising having another walk this morning in Kisumu City before joining our President, William Ruto in his working tour of the neighbouring Siaya County," Gachagua said.
In photos shared on his X page, Gachagua interacted with residents who wore bright smiles and attentive expressions.
The DP recognised this, saying the enthusiasm and vitality of the residents was evident.
"They were already engaging in various hustles as the day broke. I was happy to engage with them," Gachagua said.
