Kendrick Mulamwah's girlfriend, Ruth K, has set the record straight about being officially wedded to the comedian. Ruth K shared that she did not have her traditional ceremony because she was pregnant. The mother of one and Mulamwah held a beautiful party in October 2023, where they were seen energetically dancing. Many Kenyans assumed it was their traditional wedding, and they congratulated the couple for making things official. Why Mulamwah and Ruth K didn't wed However, in a trending video on TikTok, Ruth noted that it was just an introduction ceremony as her being pregnant thwarted ruracio plans.  In her words: "I had not told anyone at home that I was pregnant. I had just told my close friends. It was not supposed to be an introduction party. We did not know you cannot do ruracio when you are pregnant. After asking around, we were told it could not happen." The content creator added that their introduction ceremony happened two weeks after their planned date. This is because they had to change plans after being told Mulamwah could not pay her dowry because she was pregnant. "They said I had to give birth first for some procedures to happen. Both parents shifted the plans to now an introduction ceremony so that parents and families from both sides to get to know each other."
