The ODM leader's granddaughters Seniah and Saphie Akasa attended their grandmother Ida Odinga's glamorous party, which was held in Nairobi. Raila Jnr and his wife, Yvonne Wambui, also attended the event. Wambui wore a long black dress, while her husband wore checked grey trousers, a white shirt and a mustard coat.  Saphie wore a black sleeveless dress with a pink sheer cover-up, and her sister Seniah wore a colourful dress. Cabinet secretaries Hassan Joho and Opiyo Wandayi, MP Babu Owino, governors Anne Waiguru, Gladys Wanga, Wavinya Ndeti, Johnson Sakaja, and Abulswamad Shariff Nassir were among those who attended the flashy event. Raila shared photos of his family and pampered his wife, lovingly thanking her for positively impacting his life. "On your birthdays, I reflect profoundly on how you’ve impacted my life. Your strength, resilience, and wisdom have been the cornerstone of our family’s journey. Happy Birthday, my dear Ida," he wrote. Mashavin and O'rnella Nthambi, a popular makeup artist, tied the knot in a colourful traditional wedding in Lang'ata constituency, where Raila and Ida were in attendance. MPs Babu Owino, Millie Odhiambo, Jalang'o and Mombasa governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir also attended the wedding. Raila took to the dance floor, leaving guests entertained with his signature dancing style. Raila danced with Jalang'o for a few minutes before sitting down. The first time, Lang'ata MP continued to dance with Millie. Their lovely moves thrilled guests.
