Police in Alego/Usonga have launched investigations following the mysterious death of a 42-year-old man. Police vehicle at the past scene of the crime (for illustrations). Citizen Digital reported that the man’s body was found lying beside the road at Ulore village in South East Alego location on Sunday, August 18. Siaya County Police Commander Cleti Kimaiyo said villagers raised the alarm after discovering the man lying unresponsive. What the wife of the Siaya man said Kimaiyo said the matter was reported at Kogelo Police Station by the area village elder George Yewa and officers rushed to the scene where they found the body. He said that the body had no visible physical injuries and was removed to Siaya County referral hospital mortuary to await postmortem. Preliminary investigations indicated that the deceased, who is a resident of the nearby Kosema village, had left home on Saturday, August 17, but never returned home. The deceased’s wife said her husband left home saying he was going to the barber at the nearby Dondi market. He stated that the deceased’s wife said her husband had left home at around 10.00 am, saying he was going to the barber at the nearby Dondi trading centre.
