Kenya Power employees were compelled this week to replace a transformer in Zimmerman after residents intervened directly.

According to the residents, they had been without power for a week due to the missing transformer.

Videos circulating on social media show the residents escorting Kenya Power staff and directing them to the location of the missing transformer.

One resident noted that the management had repeatedly promised to address the issue “tomorrow,” but no action was taken.

After visiting the Kenya Power offices, the Zimmerman residents observed as their transformer was finally replaced.
