A controversial incident involving a soldier and a young man has ignited a storm of outrage on social media. Deng captured the humiliating event on video and shared it on TikTok.The soldier, identified as Mayiik Deng, allegedly detained a young man named Lual for ‘defaming’ him online. Why did Deng shave Lual? Deng, who is also active on TikTok, reportedly forced Lual into handcuffs and shaved his head, capturing the humiliating event on video.  Hot in Juba reports that the incident began when Lual allegedly insulted Deng on social media. In retaliation, Deng took matters into his own hands, detaining Lual and recording the punitive act. The video shows Deng shaving Lual’s head while he remains in handcuffs, an act that has been widely condemned as a gross abuse of power. Deng's threats to Lual In a Facebook post, Deng addressed the situation, claiming to have forgiven Lual but issuing a stark ultimatum. "I have given him two days to leave Juba; otherwise, his life wouldn’t be my responsibility," Deng stated in a video he shared online. Photos of Lual in handcuffs went viral on social media, further fueling public outrage. The incident has raised serious concerns about the abuse of power by military personnel and the lack of accountability for such actions.
