Simba Arati's Wife Rejects Osoro's Attempt to Translate Her Speech: "He Can Say His Own Things"

Kisii governor Simba Arati turned down MP Sylvanus Osoro's to translate her speech for her.

A video has surfaced showing Kisii Governor Simba Arati's wife, popularly known as Kwamboka, declining South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro's offer to translate her speech. Kisii governor Simba Arati turned down MP Sylvanus Osoro's to translate her speech for her. What did Kwamboka say about Osoro? During a fundraiser emceed by MP Osoro, he repeatedly announced the amounts donated by guests in the native Kisii language. When it was Arati's turn to donate, his Chinese wife approached Osoro and asked for the microphone, unlike other guests who allowed Osoro to speak for them.  "You know mheshimiwa Osoro can decide to translate his own things," Kwamboka said. The crowd burst into laughter as the MP stepped back and moved away from the podium, giving Kwamboka a chance to speak. However, Osoro returned when Arati's wife suggested that, since the event belonged to him, he should make his contributions first. "All the money we are giving is a top-up for you, so first give me your contribution," he said. Osoro complied and made his contribution to the fundraiser as requested by the Kisii County First Lady.
