Don’t Let Social Norms Hold You Back. The organisation has partnered with content creator Ombachi to receive a $25,000 (KSh 3.3 million) donation to support their mission. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in empowering and amplifying children's voices, ensuring their views on climate change, education, and digital wellbeing are heard and integrated into actionable solutions. Ombachi expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasising the importance of instilling values in children early on. "This exciting partnership with Mtoto Newz International goes to the youth, especially the children. They are the future, and we should empower them at an early age. As a father of two, I believe in being a good person because people remember how you make them feel, not what you have. Thank you, TikTok, for this collaboration with Mtoto Newz International," said Ombachi.  Mtoto Newz International's CEO, Jennifer Kaberi, highlighted the significance of the partnership. "We believe in the power of children's voices. A world where children are seen as players and not spectators. Through platforms created from this collaboration with TikTok, children can actively participate in discussions that shape their futures, express their opinions, thoughts, and ideas, and share their concerns over various challenges across Africa," Kaberi shared with TUKO.co.ke. This partnership will also scale up Mtoto Newz International's flagship program, Sauti Zetu Training, which empowers children to navigate the digital space safely and responsibly. The goal is to reach 500 children through training and one million through content, providing them with life-enhancing skills and knowledge necessary for today's digital world. Together with TikTok, Mtoto Newz International believes every child's voice can shape a better future for Africa and beyond. Did Ombachi's dad ask about his TikTok award?  Previously, the content creator shared a photo of his dad questioning him on KSh 3.2 million, which he received from TikTok. His father questioned him about the money in a family WhatsApp group.
