Pastor Leaves Kathy in Tears after Sharing Allan Kiuna's Last Words: "Kept Saying I Wanna Go Home"

Reverend Kathy burst into tears

Bishop Allan Kiuna will be buried on Wednesday, July 17. He succumbed to cancer on Tuesday, July 9 in Nairobi. Reverend Kathy burst into tears as Pastor Dan shared Bishop Allan Kiuna's last words. What were Bishop Kiuna's last words before he died? On Sunday, July 14, Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) dedicated the service to its fallen founder. One by one, those given the chance to speak eulogised Bishop Allan Kiuna as a great man. Pastor Dan, the emcee of the programme and 'adopted' son of the Kiunas, shared private details about the bishop's last words, leaving his wife, Kathy Kiuna, in tears.  The preacher said he was by Kiuna's bedside before he breathed his last, and he shared his last moments and words during the service. Dan said Kiuna assured him that the church was in safe hands. "He kept saying, 'I wanna go home,' and we cancelled those wants with our mum. We would tell him you are already in your home, but he kept insisting he wanted to go home. He even saw the angels coming for him and kept saying they are coming. He was happy to go. Our father did not lose the battle, but he won." Dan said the man of God always asked people to respect his wife while still alive. "He left us in better hands. We want to dispel any fears from anyone that there will be a power vacuum or a leadership vacuum in this church. We have our own bishop with us. I can't wait for the consecration service of a new bishop." Pastor Dan pledged support for their 'mum'. Click here to watch the full video. Kathy Kiuna's touching tribute to hubby During the Sunday church service, Kathy said she told God He would rather take her than her husband, Kiuna, because he had a great vision. Reverend Kathy talked about her deep love for her man, whom she was married to for 30 years, admitting things weren't easy. Talking about Bishop Allan's last words, the mother of three said she was confident prayers would keep the bishop alive and even chased the nurses away. She recalled praying for her husband together with Pastor Esther Obasike, but unfortunately, God rested his soul.
