Murang'a Woman Painfully Narrates Witnessing Husband's Murder after Attack by His Brothers

A woman narrates  how husband was murdered
A Murang'a woman has painfully narrated the horrendous moment she witnessed her husband's murder after he was attacked by his brothers two days ago. Murang'a woman narrated how she watched her husband being murdered.  Esther Wambui's husband, Kibugu, was brutally attacked by his brothers on the night of Tuesday, July 9, and the irate mob would later avenge his death after one of the brothers was arrested by the police. Speaking to Paxson TV, Wambui, who had a bandage on her head after she suffered injuries during the attack, narrated that her husband and his brothers had been at loggerheads, and his murder was a culmination of that protracted dispute.  "At around 9.30am, my husband's brother came to our home, and they angrily started feuding. I tried to stop them, but I also suffered injuries. I had to go hide in the kitchen and I called out for help from neighbours," a heartbroken Wambui said.  She said moments later, after the brother had left after killing her husband, she went out to find her husband's body sprawled on the ground. "I screamed for help because I could not believe that my husband had been killed," she said. Wambui narrated that as she was screaming while hiding in the kitchen, none of her neighbours responded to her distress calls. "I think they were also in fear of being attacked. No one came when I screamed for help," she added.
