How did Athuman win KSh 26 million? The 42-year-old finally picked up his cheque 18 days later, having taken his sweet time to process the magnitude of his windfall victory.  According to SportPesa, Athuman walked away with the millions after correctly predicting the outcome of all 13 games in the midweek jackpot. The father of two disclosed that he is ordinarily an Italian fan in the footballing world, but he didn't bet on them. "On the memorable day, I ditched my support for the Azzurri and supported Spain," he recalled. The decision turned prophetic as Riccardo Calafiori’s unfortunate own goal for the Italians confirmed his millionaire status. From normal Athuman to millionaire Athuman He was driven in a limousine with police escort while going to collect his cheque from the SportPesa offices. Athuman expressed his immense delight after joining the distinguished list of Kenyan millionaires. “I am very happy today because the win has enabled me to change my name from just Athuman to millionaire Athuman,” he said. Athuman recounted how tensed he was after realizing that he was only one game away from winning the jackpot, adding that he could not even eat. What will Athuman do with the millions? After claiming his biggest win ever, Athuman revealed that he intends to seek solid advice on how to spend his money. He admitted that his initial plan had not factored in winning such a huge amount. “I already had plans, but they were not for such an amount. I need to return to the drawing board and get sound advice because this money is a lot," he continued. Athuman vowed to keep fighting for more as he promised to try his luck in the Mega Jackpot which now stands at over 370 million. Who was the KSh 53 million co-winner? The other half of the KSh 53 million Midweek Jackpot was won by Omondi Oyoo from Nairobi. During the glamorous unveiling, Oyoo was treated to a day of unparalleled luxury and celebration, complete with a limousine ride and outriders. Athuman and Oyoo's win came months after another man missed one match, bidding goodbye to the Mega Jackpot.
