Kenyan protester dies at KNH weeks after shooting

A Kenyan man identified as AbdiKadir, who was shot during anti-Finance Bill protests, has passed away.
Kadir was among the protesters receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital after being shot during the June 2024 protests.
Actress and influencer Brenda Michelle, along with her producer husband Jacky B, announced Kadir's death.
Brenda shared that she had been called to the hospital by Kadir's mother, but sadly, he passed away within 30 minutes of their arrival.
"His mom called us during his final moments, and by the time we reached Kenyatta, he had already passed away," Brenda expressed.
She added, "I'm deeply saddened right now, especially for Kadir's mom 💔 I was hoping for his recovery. His mother is devastated; she had been by his side since he was shot.

4 days ago, Brenda had visited Kadir and other Gen Z's who had been shot during the anti-Finance Bill 2024 protests.
"Our heroes are getting better but there is so much to do, as we celebrate their efforts with the changes happening in the country, let's not forget them," she pleaded.
