'I thought it was an alien' Kaymo shares his experience in the delivery room

Kenyan singer and content creator Kaymo Thitima has opened up on his experience in the delivery room.

He says he was shocked after the baby came out 'white' contrary to how newborns are portrayed on social media.

'My wife delivered via CS.

When a baby is leaving the womb I did not know they are pulled out.

The photos I see on social media is one where the baby has been cleaned and the photos have been edited.

The baby looks amazing.

I was like 'ooh my God what was this, the baby was white' I was shocked and wondered if it was an alien.

But once they were cleaned he was a cute guy.

I was 30 at the time."

Kaymo shared why he thinks men need to be taught about what to expect when a woman is heavy with child.

"She walked out of the hospital and peed on herself and we thought the water had broken.

I did not know what to do, I took her to the hospital yet it was not an emergency.

We need a baby shower as men so that we can be taught these things. eg when contractions begin and how long they last.

No one prepares men for these things."
